Hey Ivan When I spoke with crown about the ce-4000 going into protect mode @ 2.7 OHMS Iwas told that the 4000 and K are the same with the exeception of the power supply and fan (and the case its in).
They never told me what the problem was but did admit that there was a problem with the very first run.
